How UrgentMate collects, uses and protects your information.

1. Overview
UrgentMate respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.
2. Information We Collect
Identity & Contact: name, email address, phone number. Account & Authentication: authentication identifiers, role selection, login timestamps and session metadata. Job & Service Information: job details, job location, uploaded photos or attachments, and job lifecycle events. Device & Technical: device model, OS version, app version, crash logs, diagnostic logs and IP address. Notifications: push notification tokens and in-app notification records. Location Information: permission status and approximate location while the app is in use, if enabled.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to create and manage accounts, match Customers and Tradies, operate dispatch, job tracking and notifications, enable communication, provide support, detect fraud, improve safety and comply with legal obligations.
4. Location Data
If enabled, location may be used to improve matching accuracy, estimate travel time, reduce response times and support safety or fraud prevention. Location access is user-controlled and location data is not sold.
5. Disclosure / Sharing
Job-related information may be shared between Customers and assigned Tradies. UrgentMate may use service providers including Supabase, Stripe, Firebase, hosting providers and infrastructure providers. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect users or the Platform. UrgentMate does not sell personal information.
6. Data Storage & Security
We use reasonable safeguards including encrypted connections, access controls, least-privilege permissions and database-level security. No system is completely secure.
7. Overseas Disclosure
Some providers may store or process data outside Australia. Reasonable steps are taken to ensure compliance with applicable privacy protections.
8. Your Rights
You may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your account where permitted, and opt-out of marketing communications where applicable.
9. Retention
We retain information while your account is active, as required for safety, auditing and dispute handling, and as required by law.
